Ingvar Kamprad founded IKEA in 1943 in the small, forest-surrounded Swedish town of Älmhult. The business started as a mail-order service, with products ordered from a catalogue and delivered by post, but it has since grown into a global home-furnishing brand that represents affordability, design, and comfort for people worldwide. While the journey from humble beginnings has been long, the vision remains unchanged: to create a better everyday life for the many.
At the 2026 exhibition, visitors can explore IKEA’s broadest range of kitchen solutions—from iconic, classic white kitchens through modern, clean-lined designs to concepts that put sustainability at the center. Digital displays will also support the presentation of the assortment, helping guests discover nearly all kitchen-related products.
The exhibition will highlight more than products: visitors can also get to know IKEA’s services. The planning service, IKEA Family, and IKEA Business will be showcased as well, offering tailored solutions for both private and business customers.
