Rejka Erika

During university studies (2004, Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design, ceramics), the designer began exploring how objects can be created from various pure, basic forms. Their work is characterized by a blend of design and craft: produced through reproducible processes, yet still personal in tone. A simple, minimalist visual language defines the pieces, made more exciting through distinctive use of color and unconventional formal and surface solutions.

They create functional objects, home accessory design products, decorative items, and autonomous porcelain works—ranging from individual commissions to pieces made for cafés and restaurants. Their works can be found in various Hungarian and international collections as well.

The Elliptic coffee product line is based on the connection of two distinctive base forms. It is a playful yet highly functional set, whose pieces take on different characters depending on the angle at which the ellipse and cylinder forms are joined. As volumes/functions change, so does the tilt angle of the elliptical form. The items can be ordered individually (even as single pieces) or as complete sets—available in monochrome colors or in custom color compositions.

The brand appears at the event as part of the Hello Magyar Design initiative.
